Supreme x Comme des Garçons Shirt Capsule Collection’s Spring Summer 2013 Lookbook

Capsule Collection

Supreme and Comme des Garçons launched their new Capsule collection. This is not the first collaboration of these two companies since 2012, when they celebrated the opening of the Dover Street Market Ginza store. Supreme and Comme des Garçons Shirt released a second Capsule clothing line for Spring/Summer 2013. With the new collection of this season they are marking the one-year anniversary of the store opening. Well, not a lot things have changed since the first collaboration: the face of the collection is a skater extraordinaire, Jason Dill, but this time an actress, model and fashionista Chloë Sevigny has joined him for the Spring Summer 2013 Lookbook.

It seems to me to be an eclectic style mixed with various street movement influences. If to compare it with the previous collection 2012, where the designers relied on the polka dot motif more, this time they used more playful patterns, layered over interesting colored camouflage, which became the hit of the trends nowadays.

This collection is interesting with the red polka dots and the mirrored Supreme box logo, boldly stamped on headwear,  few button-down shirts and t-shits.

One of the outfits made in the classic white color, which is a t-shirt with a Supreme logo on the front and an 8-bit camouflage with polka dot pattern added. Another outfit is an eye-catching coach jacket, plastered the same pattern.

Vans would make the best accompany in the collection, with two of their iconic label – the Half Cab and Era. There are also two versions of Supreme Camp caps in different camouflage covered patterns.
