There is no doubt that the most waited menswear show at the London Fashion Week 2013 was Tom Ford’s fall winter 2013 collection, who presented his menswear line in London for the very first time. As we could expect, the collection features the elegant suits with the checked print, knitwear and the gorgeous smoking jackets with the rich embroidery.

Ford’s fall winter 2013 collection, which he presented during the London Fashion Week 2013, was inspired by the 60’s. The collection is elegant, classy and chic, but at the same time a bit humdrum because of the blamelessness it was performed with, which is expressed through the risk-free designs and traditional silhouettes.

The collection primarily includes the formalwear with the slim silhouettes worn along with the high turtlenecks, which evoke the thoughts about the lords and pimps of that epoch.

Tom Ford on collection presentation during the London Fashion Week:

I am very pleased to be showing my Menswear collection in London next January. London has a vibrancy that is inspiring and much of what I create for men takes it’s inspiration from traditional British menswear.

He added:

My clothes are designed with an international customer in mind, and London is one of the most international cities on the planet.

Ford started producing the menswear line back in 2006 and it has since been favored by the A-list male celebrities including Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Daniel Graig. The latter was wearing Tom Ford’s clothing exceptionally in the James Bond latest sequel called Skyfall.
